Locally as a fund-raising program of the Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation, all money raised by the Children’s Miracle Network program stays right here in eastern North Carolina to support University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina’s Children’s Hospital and the 29 counties it serves.

Our Children’s Hospital treats children with all types of illnesses and injuries, including cancer, heart, muscular, birth defects, cerebral palsy, and traumatic injuries.

Our 122-bed Children’s Hospital is the only one of its kind in eastern North Carolina. We provide inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs to a population of 1.3 million people in eastern North Carolina.

Our patients come from throughout the region and benefit from the latest advances in prevention and treatment of disease and injury. With our state-of-the art facility we also offer compassionate care and expert staff. Last year, there were 32,000 pediatric patient visits.

Funds raised through the local CMN campaign are used to maintain and enhance programs throughout the 29 counties that Children’s Hospital serves.
